Terms of Business

We are not VAT registered and as such prices are not subject to VAT.

Estimates are valid for a period of 30 days but may be subject to variations due to the cost of raw materials.

A non-refundable deposit is required for all orders/bookings, which will indicate acceptance of the terms. Full cleared balance due on completion and prior to delivery for posted goods.

All work hand-made and as such may contain small ‘imperfections’ which add to the unique beauty of the result.

When carrying out site-work should the areas to be finished not be prepared as agreed or access not be as described on arrival we reserve the right to postpone the work in order for preparation work to be completed. Any non-recoverable costs incurred as a result of this fall outside of estimates and will be added to the final invoice.

Any sampling will endeavour to give you small representative sample of the final finish for colour matching and approval however given the hand-made nature of the finish it is understood that there may be more variation on a finished panel than can be seen on a small sample and orders are placed on this basis.

Pricing provided is on the basis that any sampling process includes a maximum of three rounds of samples and we reserve the right to charge for additional time and materials used should it be necessary to go beyond this.

All glass contains small flaws or blemishes that may be noticeable at close range. "Acceptable defects" are those that are not visible when the glass is viewed in a vertical position from 3.5m away under normal lighting.

All delivered items should be checked on arrival and any damage advised within a maximum of 3 days from receipt.

Accepted tolerances for glass size are plus or minus half the thickness of the glass. Where measurements are critical please let us know when you place your order.

Thickness, specification, or sizes of glass do not necessarily imply their adequacy for a specific use. We cannot accept any liability for damage or injury to property or persons or for any costs, expenses or losses incurred as a result of the inadequacy of the goods for a specific purpose. Any advice provided is given on the assumption that the specification is to be checked for suitability by the Client.

Unless stated in estimates, prices do not provide for making templates for cutouts or shaping.
